Message from Clare after our conference…..
I really enjoyed the Peer to Peer Conference last week and I know my colleagues from national Citizens Advice did too. It was lovely to see so many people in Coventry, coming together across the whole of the service and moving forward with purpose. It was great to hear about the amazing initiatives taking place in different parts of the country, to learn from the experience of Wales LCAs with the new Single Advice Fund, to share perspectives on the many faces of devolution and debate how to express our impact in ways that really land with funders and get them to take notice. I also heard loud and clear that CEOs are operating under huge pressure and came away with a strong sense of the need for us as national Citizens Advice to support your resilience, in addition to the great support that you provide to one another. Despite that it felt a joyful couple of days and a very worthwhile investment of time. If you there I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did and if you weren’t, do come next time!

Here is all you need to know about our wonderful plans to meet on 10th- 12th June 2025
working together :making things better………
The Theme is……’Beyond borders – influencing and designing the new advice frontiers’
Ever wondered if herding cats/juggling with jelly might be easier than the role of CEO in an LCA at the moment? If so, this conference is for YOU. We will meet to work together to check out the best ways to safeguard the future of our precious services. We know that we all need to work in a seriously new way now to make sure we get the funding we need for the services our clients deserve. This means working regionally and smarter and with more innovation than ever before. We need to be at the top of our game to secure funding and stave off competition so we need good strong comms channels and cooperation between LCAs and also between LCAs and CA.
This conference is THE chance to jump on board now and roll up your sleeves to help each other get to where we all need to be to stand firm and influence the changes. We need to check out together what we need to let go of and what we now need to embrace for the sake of the greater good/sustainability of the national brand and local services
Some of us might even say we are, at last, really seizing the moment for change and – dare we say it ...embracing the revolution that is needed so we can continue to serve our clients in the way they deserve – making sure no one is left behind and continuing to provide high quality services to as many people as possible, focussing on those most in need.
The event will be open to all local CA service CEOs and Operations Directors and we will be joined, as usual, with some colleagues from Citizens Advice to chat about strategy and plans for the future. Here is the agenda
Here is the conference pack so you can see the FAB stuff that is lined up…
