Heather (Jessop) – help through hardship – have had letter to say not keeping up to targets but they did not know this had changed. Is now 5.5 calls per day when before it was time on call. Jackie (Blackwell) said they are moving to 7 calls per day. Some concerns about team satisfaction due to demand and pressures. Reference group covered the CA survey feedback which indicated that half of teams expressed concerns on wellbeing due to work.. General concerns on targets like call numbers – we need a better metric to judge how things are going. No account taken on complexity of cases – HtC are spending time sifting out of scope calls. Concern about viability of contracts eg debt one requires 6 logged hours per day – v hard. Tony (Gaskins) said one of his team was suicidal last week and targets on contracts were a factor. He is now getting help but it is a shocking reality about the challenges of some of the national contracts. TB have been great and given good support to make sure everyone is OK. confirmed that all members of peer group here to help.
