Christine ( Mc Kinlay) noted that recently published competencies documents have some challenges in them. For instance, mandatory training for TB members seems to have some new elements and does not seem to read across to the LSA item on training for TB members.

Pippa ( Mackie) confirmed that Rachel Irvine has mentioned that there is some disjoint between LSA work and that in other departments. This is a source of some irritation and it is hoped that it will be resolved soon. The guiding document (top trumps) will be the LSA guidance, so if in doubt go by that document, not other ones.
