At the weekly call it was clarified that the workplace group for CEOs is in fact open to a range of other staff, Trustees and has many CA officers in it.

CA has set it up in this way and we have raised some concerns with them in the past. They have updated the description of the group and are happy for CA staff and others to be part of the discussions.

A view is , therefore, that it is a really good channel for comms with CA – if you want to grab someone’s attention on a topic a post there usually gets a speedy response from a member of the CA team. It can also be a good way to check things with colleagues who are not CEOs.

What it ISN’T and won’t be is a CEO only safe space to chat and check things with peers – the peer group and the website fulfil that function… hope that helps 🙂
