this is a discount card which is available for people involved in emergency work and it has been raised by some volunteers – there is a website with details – CEOs of LCAs would need to register https://www.bluelightcard.co.uk/newaccount.php and then staff can get the card for £5 one off payment.

May well be worth checking it out- guidance is to couch it n terms of social care as charities not specifically on the list.

I have read the minutes and can update re blue light card- all my staff have successfully obtained. We were informed by our council that as they contract us for homeless support we are now eligible ( as was rightly said in the meeting today the criteria has widened). I did circulate this to my colleagues in North Wales . We were instructed to click the social adult care and then you drill it down to citizens advice bureau drop down option and upload a pay slip
