Here is a cute little story from the start of my day.

I am in the garden shed, bettling away on emails and stuff and the nice Thames Water man is installing a water meter for us. So far so good.

He engages Simon on a chat about turning taps on and off and they carry on in a manly way making sure arrangements are all salted.

The man then reappears at the side gate and calls out to Simon – might he have a word – off goes Simon thinking that there is a water pressure issue or something. Back comes Simon chuckling..turns out the man is Albanian, his father has to have a knee operation and he is worried about finances and also delays on the NHS – what should he do? Obvs Simon(although not a trained CA worker) knows that the answers may be on the website, or to contact his local CA office – details of which will be on the website..
