What’s on the agenda?

Again, building on what you told us before, there will be more time for networking and sharing ideas between ourselves and fewer formal presentations. It will be interactive and we will swap ideas about things that work and pitfalls to avoid. A key theme will be thinking about regional working – for funding bids (especially on how to be better prepared to work in the world of health and care services ) and for the hubs and spokes ideas of sharing various functions between us as well as to support an effective decision making protocol within the network (as being discussed in the wider CA Transformation work)

We will be building on work we have been doing for a while, both in the CA led Community of Practice and in the peer group ‘Healthy bunch’. This also follows on from our June Conference where establishing and sharing resources for securing and running health/care funded projects was noted as our top priority.

We hope we will also have time to chat through the wellbeing survey report and definitely will be thinking more about the decision making protocols with CA – exploring further the regional representation model we discussed at the June conference and that sits well with both the increased need for regional working driven by the funding for health and care as well as our shared understanding of the need to have a mechanism for swift decision making within the network so that we can rise to new challenges and opportunities.

You will come away with loads of ideas and having had a chance to chat to people facing the same challenges as you – who ‘get it’ so a bit of offloading and some companionship and some new perspectives and insights all round – should make for a lovely journey back to your base, refreshed, renewed and uplifted..
