We had a great presentation from Rachel (Irvine) at the call and she confirmed that various elements of the ‘refresh’ of the LSA are now in hand. The next step is some further engagement on co design with us all to find the best way forward on some bits. Here is the invite to join a group that Rachel is organising to work on this..
Here are the slides Rachel shared with us and there is another event on 11th August if you missed the call this week.
My take on the headlines that might interest you is:
Yellow DOES become green under the new arrangements – good and excellent as criteria will be dropped and the traffic lights will drop down to Red Amber Green- until this change is fully implemented, we will all be encouraged to work to yellow , not to current green .
Standards will be met or unmet – no shades of grey which should give more clarity and consistency
Fundamental elements that lead to sustainability and security for organisations will be noted as such and will be kept to a minimum – key requirements – so that we all know what is critical to our meeting standards
The key shift that I noted is in tone/approach/attitude from CA so it is clear that Rachel is very keen that this becomes a supportive shared endeavour not a telly offy horrid experience.
Watch this space for next steps and share your views to shape the future…..
