I was wondering whether you might publicise via the CEOs’ Peer Group news and website that National Citizens Advice have agreed to pick up the centre registration costs for the Management Pathway (that our organisation would otherwise have paid).
Attached is the final programme which is now ready to launch and to recruit learners. It is also publicised on our website

This brings the cost per learner for anyone from an LCA right down to £120 (which is the learner registration fee at TILM).

Update from Angela:

Attached is an update on where we are with the management pathway including proposal for involvement of National Cit A and my draft of the Management Pathway Content.

What’s changed? Less input from us (CEOs) is now possible – we can facilitate an action learning set if we’d like to or run a training session (I’ve suggested enrichment in the options). CEOs with no time can still steer the programme/send learners.

Cost? CA South Somerset will set up as a TILM as a centre (we then register your learners) this is about £2,500 including VAT but a one off. Annual renewal would be £500 plus VAT. I hope to recoup some costs if possible.

Price? £95 plus VAT per learner to access the pathway we create and to have the 1:1 assessment conversations. Where there are optional one day courses (eg 2 from Momentum) these have an additional learner fee. For example I have booked 2 days with Momentum 20^th and 21^st October for face to face sessions in Somerset. Any LCA wanting to send a learner can join paying a learner fee. Clusters of us may wish to take this approach where our geographies allow.

Next Steps: To get this off the ground in October I suggest that we do the following:

Hold a meeting among ourselves for those of us that wish to steer this project – can we do something this week 17^th August 4.45 pm or 18^th August 9.15am or 30^th August 9.30am (if you can make one let me know and I’ll host each one, multiple meets no problem
Agree Pathway content (ie what I’ve drafted or alternatives from the Components)
Appoint action learning set facilitators (from among us or recruit more widely from CEO peers)
Promote the learning programme across the LCA to recruit learners
