Nearly 50 of us took the recent survey and 4 of us noted that we would probably bid to be in the supply chain even if we didn’t have TUPE info – the rest of us were keen to get the TUPE info first so that we could do risk assessments and due diligence on financials etc.
Reasons for those who might bid without TUPE info included a sense that most people would not have accrued much in the way of a financial liability for a new employer so it wasn’t a big deal and/or that a bid could be withdrawn later if it transpired the financial liability wasn’t sustainable/worth it.
Several of us expressed serious concern about the viability of our service if the HtC contract contribution to overheads/core was withdrawn as this element has become crucial to some of us in terms of budgets and delivery model.
Looking forward to chatting more about it all…
